A short South American Myth is a myth about a god called Jaguar. Jaguar is the God of Fire. He lived in the forests of South America. People back then, had no fire to cook their meat, or any weapons to catch their prey. Whether Jaguar, had fire and a bow and arrow to catch and cook his meat. Jaguar was kind and fair, as he commonly let the poor into his big palace in the sky, and shared his cooked meat with them. With one poor man who was let into the palace, Jaguar also shared his weapons with him. Jaguar tr aught him how to use a bow and arrow, and the man was very greatful for this, but he thought he could take advantage of the situation he was in, so the poor man stole the bow and arrow, and the fire, went and killed Jaguar's wife, and then escaped and shared Jaguar secrets with the world. Jaguar was very angry at the man, and at all people, as his precious secrets had been revealed to the world. Jaguar now waits in the deep forests of South American waiting to get his revenge, on people.
